Jamey has become a big A's fan from living on the west coast; thus, of course, he loathes the fact that his niece wears a Boston shirt (since Jon is a Red Sox fan) ... so he gave Sarah an A's shirt for Christmas! It was finally warm enough yesterday to play outside in short sleeves, so we put the shirt on and took some pictures for Uncle Jamey! - Sarah calls the shirt "Jamey's shirt" :) We can't wait to see Jamey and Dana at the end of the month!! Sarah adores them both! It's so sweet.
Sarah's "gardening" in the bottom 2 pictures. We're about to start basil, tomatoes, peas, and peppers inside from seed and plant carrots outside. There's a local lawn and garden store that I just love - for 1, the owner will say, "Don't buy those - I'll have more of those seeds in a few weeks for a fraction of the cost." Thanks!! But he also knows his stuff big time on vegetable gardening, so I always ask him tons of questions. Taking his advice, we'll wait and plant squash, zucchini, spinach, cucumbers, and beans directly in the ground in mid to late April.
